Assuming you are using oak trees, did you put them in a treealyzer for them to become apple trees? Otherwise the machine probably won't recognize them. Once you do then it should start pulling apples from the trees.

Well it is a manual farm. Once you place the trees and grow them it will harvest apples from it. The trees will stay there undamaged. The initial setup is that all is needed. The orchard should require no inputs but fertilizer and water. Everything else would be set up by you beforehand.

I think once we get the actual xycraft release with machines we will see a lot more arguments about it. Right now is mostly 'Xycraft is useless'. I don't think there has as much arguing about it's machines yet, compared to the other mods that is.

The orchard works fine. You plant them on dirt, not humus. The multifarm needs a gearbox block and will accept energy from it. You just replace 1 block that is not in the 3rd rows ring with a gearbox and input energy through that. There is also the hatch for output/input and a valve for water input.

Nope. If a wand has Charging on it and you use a Frugal book on it with the anvil you get a wand with Charging. It just wastes the book. Same way the other way around also.

Repair isn't for wands. They have Charging, same effect but different name. Charging only has 1 level while Repair has 2. Wands however can not have both Frugal and Charging on them.

You can enchant it and hope to get Charging. This let's it use the vis in the area to repair itself. Otherwise you have to create more.

No, steve's carts does not recognize saplings that have been breed. Also if you update the latest ExtraBiomes xl (3.9.0) you can now put the xl biomes saplings in the fermenter.

The max size of a xycraft tank is 12x12x12 which hold more then a railcraft tank. Really the only reason you would use a railcraft tank is for smaller sizes due to it holding more per block, the difference becomes smaller as the tanks become bigger and the cost of iron compared to the cheapness...

Actually there is a problem with relays that has to do with how fast they update which is causing the game to resend entire chunks-worth of data to players on servers, which causes quite a bit of lag.

Xycraft tanks can share walls and be linked horizontally. Which the railcraft tanks can't do.
