Really? As far as I know you need all other research before you can get started in KAMI. Also, I didn't mention this before, but celestial gateways don't work between dimensions.

You could also try making a quarry at the same position with the same dimensions again, but this time you put a PumpPlus next to it. The Quarry should then clear all liqudis and build construction frames in the Quarry hole where liquids could flow into the mining area.

His guide is nice, but it's outdated. There are already more rituals and there is a new spell conduit system for which I haven't seen any documentation so far. Anyway, what about RotaryCraft or ReactorCraft?

If you already happened to find a tainted biome, the tainted mobs there drop tainted stuff (like goo, etc.) which has the taint aspect on it. You will have to use it quickly because it dissipates in your inventory after a while.

You can mine coal with a flint pickaxe. Then you can make stone rods out from cobblestone and combine two rods with one piece of coal to get two torches. My question for Blood n' Bones: How do you mine iron?
