    Most of the engines do not transfer all of its energy directly adjacent to a buildcraft compatible machine and i think redstone energy cell are not an exception.(Not tested)

    Forgecraft might have different config settings on the nuclear reactor than Ftb. Forgecraft also have many mods that are not part of ftb beta pack a (redpower2...)

    Scaffolds is an ic2 item which is cheap and acts as a efficient fuel and .... a scaffolding material which you can climb.
