Another random question, anyone know if xysoil works with forestry multiblock farms, and if so, how well?

Thanks for the reply, very helpful, but now i'm left wondering if it is really so simple. I thought I remembered hearing that they boosted the growth rate and though catching another block tick due to a tower beneath would do this I can't help but wonder if there is more to it than that.

I couldn't tell you how many time I would start to lure an animal, then when I'm about half way home the animal stops and either stands still or wanders off. Even when I am right next to the dumb thing.

Well if that is indeed the case then a stack of soil would be far better(2^n) then a single deep(2*n) farm.

See, that's what I'm thinking. Once I am on a version I want to stick to I think i'll give myself a mining turtle, a portal gun, and some iron tools then set to work. I'll be able to get up and running fairly quickly while still having to work my way through most of it.

That's kinda been my dilemma with almost every update. I don't want to spend hours on a world only to have a new version come out with mods that require world gen and so i'll either have to explore further and further each time or start from scratch.
