    @Monarch_of_Gold, I had a similar experience with COFHTweaks and ended up just sticking with Fastcraft for now. I'll try it again sometime in 1.9 when everyone eventually gets there, but for now Fastcraft does what I need it to do, and doesn't cause me grief with the set of mods I tend to use.

    I'm fine with whatever you go with. It's your pack - I'm just giving my impressions and making suggestions. :) I personally still prefer Dimensional Pockets, but I'm competent enough to use either one.

    I just checked, it shows up on the appropriate face of both cubes. How you transfer it from that face is up to you. Items are not duped.

    In your "texts" section on your json file, don't include the "fml" portion. Poof, no splash text on the bottom left. If you meant instead the animated hammer screen on the bottom right, that's in splash.properties, in which you just set enabled = false.

    Hmm, is there any sign of him eyeballing a 1.8.9 or 1.9.x port in the (sometime this year) future? I shudder to think about the huge number of modelling adjustments he'd be making to bring things in line with the rendering changes, but it would definitely be cool to see his mods move forward.

    Veinminer is by default configured to use vanilla tools, thus my original question. :) If vanilla tools were not being used, then yes, the next step would very much be to properly configure it as you have pointed out.

    Are you trying to use vanilla tools (pickaxe, shovel, etc.) or are you trying to use something like Tinker's Construct tools?
