    XL mushrooms are indeed used in soup combined with a bowl and 2 mushrooms of the same colour.

    Now you see, this touches upon what I mentioned before. FTB is not a rpg modpack by any means, it's industrial. The magic feel is there but it's not supposed to be for the sake of roleplay and more to rape natural resourses. Like Twilight Forest and their ore hills and Ages with their Dense...

    I'm not sure. I've played with bees before and ExtraBiome flowers seemed to work with bees. I'll look into it.

    You can't go wrong with the vanilla. I'd recommend using red and browns in a differential pattern. Red-Brown-Red-Brown-etc

    Resizable launchers would indeed be nice, but I can think of about 50 other problems with the launcher they could fix first which are infinitely more pressing.

    Geothermal Generator + The Nether

    Mystcraft Portals would work better as you can decide on it's destination down to the co-ordinates, meaning you can slap tankcarts directly onto boarding rails which can be attached to a loader or unloader. As far as I'm aware, Nether Portals aren't that sophisticated.
