Normal Tekkit has permission for Railcraft. It was originally thought that Tekkit Lite would as well, but it was removed when CJ clarified that it does not.

No, no, no. The Technic Platform's modpacks are basically like the FTB private modpacks, they only show up if you add a specific code. The Platform website is a database of packs that gives you their code (URL). That's pretty much what I want out of a modpack distribution platform, as well...

Actually, optifine's mipmaps would FIX that. It can cause other issues though, so mileage may vary.

They kind of do that automatically. They throttle their speed depending on how much power is available. If you've got enough power coming in to keep their internal buffer full, they're pretty damn fast.

Hmm, will the suit be able to recharge off of an energy cell? :D

Unless something happens that delays release, the release will likely be exactly the same as the current test build. All they have to do is set it to "recommended".

Both packs are kind of lacking, to be honest. That's why I rolled my own :p
