    easyest way is to down load the server for the pack you used. Use the start .bat post error logs so ppl can help you

    i would first look into the connection to the server if everyone is lagging and timing out at the same time. Then look into stuff like chunk loaders and see if loaded chunks are causing lots of block updates. (mass flowing water/lava.. items being tossed on the ground, mass mobs spawning )

    this is pretty much a common place console spam. the short of it, the server isnt at the same time as the host and is catching up, and most of the time this isn't the reason be hind any lag. The Direwold20 1.01 and 1.02 are pretty bad for lag

    Caused by: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space need to give your serverstart.bat (may be named something else) more perm gen you can open it with not pad

    # Maximum level of XP the xp obelisk can contain. I:xpObeliskMaxXpLevel=2147483647 that's from the configs...no clue what the lvl number would be though sorry

    they both back up so restoring would be the same....unsure what you asking i find aroma's back up's lags more then forgeessentials other then that it's the same
