I'm thinking of creating infinite lava source and I found a way but it's efficient at all. Actually not "not at all", it's not efficient. Magma Crucible can turn cobblestone into lava at the cost of 24000 MJs. But at the same time a bucket of lava can produce only 18000MJs. So we lost 6000MJs...

Why didn't you built seperate systems? I mean quarries will eventually hit bedrock. After that this system will be useless. Am I wrong? For me, I use combustion engines to power quarries and I re-create same system wherever I go.

I'm not sure about that because it depends on generetion settings(Cluster size, cluster per chunk etc.). And about slow down, I don't know. They never did something like that to me. I mean a while ago sounds were enabled, then disabled and now enabled again. And I see no difference. But anyways...

Or you can use Magma Crucible. Netherrack input, lava output. %66 of lava you produce goes to Magmatic Engine which is powering the Magma Crucible. You can store the rest. And as Magma Crucible has 3 by 9 inventory, 28 stacks of Netherrack should last a bit. If you want to automate gathering...
