You don't need to? The tubes'll sort them automatically (the wheat will go only into a valid inventory, and in that setup the only valid one would be the wheat barrel).

Any microblock will do. That's just 8⅓ days on a 24/7 server, a fair tradeoff for not having to setup a complicated reactor (especially if you want it fully automated). Solar panels are so convenient that they're pretty much impossible to beat.

Not necessarily; RP2 microblocks are considered transparent, so you could use them to masquerade your holes you'd need for solar power. Of course, since you can't saw grass blocks, you'd want an area where you could use something else (basalt, stone, etc.) for the cover-up and still have it look...

Shame the omniwrench doesn't work for Redpower tho. Plus at least in the version mindcrack v8 is using I've had some issues - couldn't wrench tesla coils, for example.

So, has anyone progressed as far as getting some of those traits to another breed? I'd especially like to see if anyone's managed to make gigantic versions of trees other than the sequoia. :D

Naw, the mod creator confirmed as much in the minecraftforum thread. I've looted my fair share of those chests and never saw even one robust sapling, so they must be one of the rarest, if not the most rare, items in TF.
