Until the update today, the only option was frames, which can move a block one space at a time, similar to pistons. With the Portal Gun mod added in an update just a few minutes ago, though, you can use the grab key with the Portal Gun to pick blocks up, such as the spawners.

I don't. I think v6 was to fix the ID errors.
