    There's no point until they actually release the pack and I can look at the defaults. The longer they take to actually get the thing out of the door the longer it'll take me to get a config pack support for it. :)

    Generally speaking, any actually useful bee will have to be bred. With Forestry's addons installed there's a grand total of 11 bee species obtainable in the wild (including the Nether and End species) but the actual amount of obtainable breeds of bee is closer to 190.     The bees central to your production are Cultivated, Imperial and Industrious. All other bees are optional and depend on what you actually want to do with your bee program. Cultivated bees will eventually become obsolete depending on what else you breed but Imperial and Industrious never do.

    Don't bother, MCEdit is extremely poorly equipped to handle mod blocks these days and has been ever since the block ID limit was extended past 256. It's guaranteed to cause more damage than it fixes.

    I recommend using MultiMC for custom modpacks. FTB won't let you do what you want for one thing, it doesn't expect you to want two instances of the same modpack.
