Mod Feedback [By Request] RotaryCraft Suggestions

I think it falls under "acceptable breaks from reality." What you propose would be confounding for players as there already is a fractionation machine for jet fuel production, so either your petrol machine would need a different, potentially confusing name, or you'd have to rename the existing...

Those little things that irk you about Minecraft

I just gave up on that whole thing long ago. Even TooManyDanyOres seems to only proc on ingots, despite being explicitly configured to work on ores, too. Course, its easier when you use one mod to process most everything; RoC can do everything except some Metallurgy and NuclearCraft ores...

I think that's theoretically possible, aye. Though, you might end up earning the ire of a certain dragon... ;)

That's the big reason why I advise folks to charge up with as much lumen energy as possible before heading (back) into the dimension. You'll need it for the Elemental Sonar and prolly other single-use abilities, as well.

If memory serves, its kinda like Simon. It has been a while, though, so I may be a little off.

Yesssss, I adore the dimension. Also, I tend to just give the tree access to a multi-aura and lead repeaters to THAT, instead. The loss from a single multi-aura is small enough that it won't kill anything.

The lumen tree is a battery; it needs power just like the rechargables you put in a remote.

The ElC RF transfer cables can handle pretty much all the RF. Aside from that, it's pretty much the best way to store and move RoC power over long distances. If you've got Thermal Expansion, then you can fill the superconductors with cryotheum, which can be easier to acquire under certain...

I know there are adjacency cores (the spinny, coloured things that used to just be the tile accelerator) that boost range. I dunno if they'd be effective on the fertility blooms, though. Also, you can put them on enrichment vines? Huh, I was unaware of this...

Yeah, BoP, in my experience, tends to hose worldgen in terms of variety. Kinda ironic.

Aye, you'll be wanting them exploration bits, as they ARE gating; not sure if they gate the repeaters, but there's a reason why they're at the top of my to-do list in ChC. I think there's a command to alter progression, but I dunno the exact arguments it needs to get you the exploration...

I'm hearing a voice on the wind, and it speaks unto me the words "bridge mod."

Moving Reika's blocks with things like that is, as far as I know, a Bad Thing (TM). The blocks have a good bit of metadata that doesn't do well with automated transport and placement like that.

I think there's a recipe listing in NEI for the fabricator. I don't think there's a way to farm purification powder sibce you can't silk up the rock flowers and they don't spread. If you have RFTools, you could try making a cave world; so long as the base block is stone, you should have a good...

I think the tree needs more area at its base, try clearing out some of the grass at the bottom and seeing if it works, then. Never used the Elemental Lamp so, alas, I can't help ye there, but I'll look on my end and see if I can't find out how she works and report back.

Now see, that would be neat. If I had the knowledge, I'd at least make one that uses Python. Guess I could study CCs code and figure out how dan200 did his thing and adapt it. Though, I'd want to give it an interface a la MPS so you can fit more'n about a dozen lines of code per screen...

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

Reminds me of one of Reika's videos where someone, I forget who, had a titanic node in a jar that you could see from effing space.

If you have Mekanism, you can key a digiminer for the crystals (you'll need an example of at least one) and set it to silk em up. It chews thru power (silking usually makes it eat 6x more power), but given its huge range, its well worth it.

Those little things that irk you about Minecraft

That there still isn't, to my knowledge, a computer mod that uses a proper language like Python. Its THE reason I haven't done much of anything with computers in Minecraft since, like, 1.5. I need real data structures, not the incomprehensible prototype whatsis that Lua uses.

Hm...if I had to guess, I'd say that it sounds like it'd be kind of a turbocharger for relays, but don't quote me on that.
