Did you test the mob cap? Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

You know what? Go ahead and create a flat world, and test whether there is a monster cap by encasing the nexus in bedrock, and not killing any mobs that arrive. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

Then make sure they don't get there. The whole point to invasion is to test your defenses. So test them and improve them. [emoji14] Try making a reactor, an then use shafts to transfer the power to a few van de graafs around the nexus to slaughter any mobs that get through. Maybe make a...

The best solution for this is to avoid using bedrock, and instead just use obsidian.

I mean that if you start the nexus, you'll need to have access to destroy it if the invasion mobs become overwhelming, or at lease allow them to end the contest. Automating the invasion is not likely a good idea.

If I recall correctly, mob cap doesn't apply.

At least, until the number of entities slows the system/server down to a crawl, without allowing you an easy way to shut it off.

I think the nexus is where you collect your flux, but it's been a while; I could be wrong.

I am planning on several things. However, vanilla tools will not be upgradeable; once you have a new material, you just make a new tool. The XP mechanic is also going to be disabled; while it was pretty cool to have, it depends on Tinker's Construct, which has essentially said that they will...

Just a heads-up, 1.2.0 is currently in the works, and it includes a lot of fixes to previously-mentioned issues. One thing we're waiting on is for the new RotaryCraft to stabilize, after which, provided all testing works out, the update should be forthcoming. For those with issues with...

I should be able to add "flake mix" recipes using MineTweaker, provided that the ingredient flakes and end result flakes have oredict entries or steady names (and not a sequentially-generated meta number created on startup). If the flakes are dynamically generated, then I am probably not going...

When you mouse over the pickaxe, it should have "mining XP". This has two numbers: The number of blocks you've mined using this pickaxe, and the number of blocks required to be mined before the pickaxe advances to the next level. The flint pickaxe can be leveled to copper mining. Once this...

Wow, if it does, that's new to me. You might want to check with Reika to see if he added some kind of instability or overheating mechanic.

    Shouldn't be too difficult, I don't think.

There is a way to exploit zombie swarming mechanics to trap them. A zombie taking damage will attract other zombies. ExU iron spikes will damage and kill mobs without damaging their drops. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

Have you tried setting a mob farm? ExU conveyor belts allow spawning, and won't cause endermen to vanish like water channels do. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

Emeralds spawn similar to diamonds, but surrounding a vein of silverfish egg stones instead of lava. Like vanilla, emeralds will only spawn in mountain biomes. Villages are not disabled that I know of. And endermen are not only enabled, there are several variants. Quick tip: if you see an...

To anyone getting the out of bounds error on start, we accidentally put version 3.2.0 of Special Mobs back in. Just follow the steps in the third comment on this thread, and you should be able to play it with no further issue.
