[1.7.10] Survival industry [rotarycraft based tech]

I don't know how I feel about that. At the very least, it's pretty "mad science-y." Sounds a little overpowered for the purpose of this mod; in fact, it sounds a lot like Steve's Factory Manager, but without the need for the connection pipe. I'm not really sure I want to add it, but if it is...

I actually really like EnderIO, but many parts would undermine the purpose of this modpack. This is one of those mods I had to regretfully prune from the pack during the initial process of distilling the modpack into a unifying theme. Okay, let's take this in order: Teleportation blocks are...

If I set up EnderIO, I have positively no intention of totally gating the pipes, so don't worry about that. Maybe the top-tier pipes. How well does refined relocation work with Applied Energistics Matter-Energy conduits? Also, does it bundle pipes together in a single block like EIO does...

Keep in mind, these batteries were designed to store the kind of energy generated by the ReactorCraft reactors. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

The RF Battery can store energy in the TeraRF level (12 zeroes). There's also an rf cable that has no limit to transfer rate. Both are extremely expensive, though. The Auroral battery is the top-tier battery in ElectriCraft. It stores over 2.5 Tera-Joules of energy. Both are single-block items.

Have you seen the cost of the EC auroral battery? Or the EC RF one? :p

Let's see: Energy cube replaces pretty much all of ElectriCraft. Atomic disassembler would overshadow bedrock tools. Robits would replace: Rotarycraft's handheld crafting grid OpenBlocks Luggage OpenComputers Robots. Digital miner would replace the RoC boring machine, pile driver, and ExU's...

I'm going to have to disagree on Mekanism. Remember, this modpack's core mod is RotaryCraft. I designed it specifically to avoid mods that can upstage RoC. After looking through the Mekanism documentation, I'm not finding much that doesn't replace one or another of RotaryCraft machines. That...

Once 1.2.0 is released (in the next few days or so), you might want to start over. A lot of changes are inbound, including bedrock gating for several of the more "super-tech" mods (namely, AE, RFTools' dimensional technology, Gendustry, Minechem, Advanced Genetics, and the Invasion mod), rift...

No worries there, this modpack is centered around RotaryCraft; Neither IC2 nor GT will be considered for inclusion. ;)

Fair enough. Also, for full disclosure, I should add that doing this might involve oredicting canola seeds as 'sourceVegetableOil', thereby adding them to the existing vegetable oil recipe. I can skip the oredict and just make a recipe, but this would be a cleaner overall method.

Ah. I wasn't referring to a grinder recipe; vegetable oil is an item, not a fluid (actually, it can be, but the recipe I intend is not). I intend to make a shapeless crafting recipe using 1 canola, Pam's juicer or an iron pressure plate, and a glass bottle to make 1 vegetable oil (with a dense...

For the flakes, fair enough. Perhaps introduce a different mechanic? As I recall, you use the blast furnace to form spring steel and bedrock ingots, could this not be expanded to handle other forms of alloy? This way, there won't be any talk of dusts. As for the canola oil recipe, it just...

Tinker's Construct has effectively dropped support for 1.7.10 (they will only fix major issues). I want to have a replacement progression in place before it no longer works. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

Thermal Foundation provides the ores and metals; Thermal Expansion just provides a way to alloy them. I use the former to provide copper and tin for making copper and bronze tools, and am seeking a way to drop the requirement for Tinker's Construct without adding mods that upstage RoC. (Right...

You don't see the utility of alloying ores using flakes? Some RotaryCraft recipes include invar and electrum. In the absence of mods like Thermal Expansion, Tinker's Construct, and EnderIO, some kind of alloying mechanic would be very useful indeed. Besides, you seem to be building up...

JSL, I like the cut of your jib, sailor! Granted, I prefer using a minefield and tesla... er... van de graaf generators, but that's just me thinking about playing Red Alert. Fortanono, that does make sense. Done.

What JSL was asking was whether we could use Electricraft's wires as an electrified fence. I'm kinda curious about that myself, now. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
