    Using 1.7.10-1.0.5.6, the damage popoffs show the wrong damage amounts for enemies that have armor. They show the damage amounts before armor is taken into account. Edit: uhhh okay I disabled popoffs in the conifg, but they still show up? Is there another mod that shows damage by hearts?

    He's probably being killed by the occasional Headcrumbs mob that spawns with a heavily enchanted bow. The Headcrumbs mobs are REALLY dumb. I encourage everyone to disable them.

    Why did you disable light from Vibrant Quartz glass?! It was only ever available from reward bags! All you're doing is breaking your OWN quest rewards! I guess I get to go trawling through the configs to find where it's disabled so I can re-enable it and not have a dozen USELESS light sources...

    I don't really care if a node is tainted. Once it's energized, it doesn't matter, and if it's not going to be used to make an energized node there's no reason to move it. The Dreamcatcher doesn't reduce the chance of getting afflicted with Taint Sickness, I don't think. It reduces the damage...

    The disadvantage is that you have to go back to the surface to see where the biome has changed and if you need to find tainted nodes.

    Thinking about it more, I don't think the fibrous taint is the problem in my case. There are beaches nearby which means there's room for mobs to spawn, I just stopped getting them for no apparent reason. Also, because crusted taint spawns naturally during worldgen, mobs can spawn on that...
