I ran into the same problem. The thing that worked for me was to put a tiny charge in the jetpack, then wear and use it until it was completely empty, then the quest book could detect it.

Search the google a little bit. I found a post (on reddit I think) that listed all the required crafting to unlock all the hidden quests. I haven't got the link handy so you'll have to look for yourself.

Why are people so concerned about submitting packs early? It's not like they are going to get extra credit or anything. By my reckoning there are 10 days left in the competition. I would say if the submission instructions appeared on the 28th that would be perfectly reasonable.

I meant Let's Play and you have to CRAFT 1 cracked seared bricks for the Tinkerer quest in the Bragging Rights section. There is no recipe in NEI and I tried the Tinker's chisel and cannot find a way to make them with that either.

I second this request. My LP is on hold until I can craft one of these seemingly uncraftable blocks.

Dang! I didn't expect it to be so difficult to get the mod authors permission to make modpacks. Most of the mods I'm using allow anyone to use their mods, but a couple integral ones don't and one of them is stubbornly refusing to allow it. A couple other mod others seem impossible to contact...

Wow, I put together a modpack yesterday and then dove into the HQM. This is going to take a serious amount of work. I am even more impressed with AgSkies than I used to be.

Yeah, NEI doesn't know about the presser and what it can make, unfortunately. It has 3 uses I know of: Squishing Soybeans; extracting wax and honey from Pam's Harvestcraft honey combs (which I don't think you can get); and making bubbly water from Pam's Fresh Water.

^ what he said, plus you do not craft soybeans. You grow them, hence no NEI recipe.

Died. Note to self: That wall near the fire is open and mobs can come in at night. Zombie hordes are a bit difficult to handle with no weapon in an enclosed space.

I would say until Forge or some other mod unifies all the ores so they are the same making all the textures the same would be a horrible idea. People would complain about having 6 stacks of tin that don't stack properly, and they would not know why.
