That's a useful bit of information. I'm not using engines to extract items from the farm though. I just have my barrel right against the hatch and the items are pulled/pushed into the barrel as fast as they're harvested. But this is still some useful information for other projects.

It's an emerald extraction pipe, not a fluid pipe. I can whitelist, blacklist and set it to round robin, but no filter like with the fluid pipe. But if you're asking if I've set it to whitelist anything, no I haven't.

This whole process has given me infinite fuel in the forms of coal and coke. There it is. Never thought to put the barrel directly onto the hatch.

I just gave the extraction pipe an ISE operating at 80 rf/t and it's still only extracting 1 item at a time.

I think it might have something to do with the fact that the farm automatically outputs, and it only outputs at a rate of one item at a time. But 'm really not sure. I don't have very much experience with Forestry or BC.

I'm afraid the diamond autarchic gate isn't working. I have it set up exactly as I was instructed. 7 conditions are set to redstone signal off --> energy pulsar. I've made absolutely sure that there aren't any redstone signals getting to the gate. It's only extracting 1 item at a time.

How do I make the diamond autarchic pulsar gate? NEI isn't being helpful. It's cycling through all of the different gates and it goes too fast for me to be able to read everything.

I also just remembered that my second gate needs to be a pulsar gate....

I just got all 9 steam engines and lasers placed. had to use only the outside 8 to make the first diamond gate, put it in the middle so the 9th engine could power the laser, then made the second diamond gate. everything works beautifully :)
