    You'd want to use clay pipes not gold pipes since they will try to input into the barrel's inventorys and if that fails move it along the pipe, while gold pipes will pop the item out of the pipe if it fails to insert and isn't guaranteed to try to put the right items into the barrel either.

    Clay pipes will try to go into the inventory they are connected to before moving the item along to the next pipe. This means it will always try to put it in if possible. When using regular pipes its random which direction it'll go, so you may have an item miss the barrel it is supposed to go...

    Are you using clay pipes to connect to the barrels? And are you using pipe plugs so they don't create endless circles?

    I think the lower number is used if you have the circles around the cauldron to reduce the cost otherwise it uses the 7000

    You don't need the gold for the cauldron. I think its the small and medium that help with the altar. It should say in the brewing book. The different chalks do different things as well but I just used the regular white and that seemed fine.

    Do you have the circles setup around the cauldron? That will help to reduce the cost.

    The apiarist pipe is in this modpackand works great for automation :) Are you having an issue with getting it to work? Edit: tpl is right, if you are using bee houses you cannot automate them, but apiaries will automate with the pipe easily.

    The direwolf howling is definitely annoying. I went around and lit up a bit of the area directly outside my base as well as the caves underneath it and it helped. Plus, 0.7.2 lowered their spawn chance so they aren't spawning as often either which definitely helps as well.

    What's the metadata on the cactus? It should be just regular 82 (I think?) and not have a :1 or anything like that. That was a problem on 0.65 and since you mentioned having the problem there....

    I don't see a wall around your place. Maybe mobs are jumping on it at night? Edit: if its not the mobs, does it only happen in a specific area/block of the farm? or across the entire size?

    Glad to hear it! I wish the documentation on the thaumonomacon (I can never spell that!) actually gave you more details. It is pretty cool watching it work though! I'll definitely be using it again in the future.

    It took me awhile of testing until I finally figured out how to make it work myself. The arbor has to be piped into the bottom of the reformer. You can either put one warded jar directly underneath and just replace when it runs out or use essentia pipes (what I did) to make the connection...
