In my current playthrough I have only one pure silverwood with the resulting tiny magical forest area. Two coven witches and a pech scavenger spawned within the first day of having it. I think you're just getting exceptionally unlucky with RNG.

I had a similar problem once. If your files don't have administrative permission they won't be able to write the saves to your world folder. Check the folder your game is saving in and make sure it has permission. IIRC when I had that issue I was using ATL instead of FTB, but theoretically it...

So I've just realized the nether bees don't recognize netherwart planted on crops as a valid flower. Has anyone else found a work around for this? I'm off in search of naturally occurring netherwart in the meantime.

I was lucky enough last night to spawn two ents when cutting down my very first witchery tree in my .7.x restart. The second one spawned one more. Didn't get another ent in the dozen or so after that though, so maybe I hit my bad luck cap for the evening :)
