    Epic Fail stories

You guys might get a kick out of this. So, I am by no means an expert on TE. I love the mod, and I use it extensively for my long-distance setups that require lots of energy, like my MFR tree farm. Of course, I use energy tesseracts for this. My favorite way to power anything in TE is to...

    Silk touch on a Axe?

Basically anything that you can break with an axe that you want to preserve, I think. They may have changed this, but can you still use say, silk touch on an axe to harvest grass? Maybe that only worked with a pickaxe, though. I dunno.

    Ultimate 1.0.2 GregTech recipes

Actually, a timesink is anything that consumes a significant amount of time, especially in regards to the original purpose of the activity. Survival mode is simply a way for people to experience creative mode in a way that consumes more time. The only difference between the two is that...

    Ultimate 1.0.2 GregTech recipes

Survival is a timesink to any game that calls itself a sandbox. Should we boycott Mojang? There's one big difference between Greg and Blizzard. This difference, as it happens, is the reason why the two can't be compared in terms of why they did what they did. GregTech is free. World of...

    Performance in the next pack?

Eh... I think there'd need to be some sort of re-write if this were to be taken seriously. I mean, I'd honestly be all for something like that. It would be new and exciting, but I just don't see how something like that would be feasible. Minecraft is already so CPU intensive, and there's...

    Best mining method?

Chuck Norris jokes were pretty stale before I was in High School which was... well, somewhere on the order of 6-7 years ago.

And so I'm making a Galgadorian Drill...

I meant the safari net that is required to use in an auto-spawner. You know, the auto-spawner that can create an unlimited amount of a mob within a safe, no-lava environment? All you need to do is catch ONE ghast above Netherrack, as opposed to catching every single one that you need a tear...

You just gave me a great idea to piss someone off.

    Performance in the next pack?

The name of the game in this would probably be... have a number of turtles start digging 1x1 holes in the ground in search of veins. It would take the automation out of it for sure, but I imagine it would also be massively faster, even if you mined the veins by hand. Or you could just slap a...

And so I'm making a Galgadorian Drill...

If I recall correctly, you can capture a ghast with a safari net and then auto-spawn them through MFR. They need a large space, but that's probably the easiest way to farm them. Of course, you need at least one ghast tear to make a safari net. So there's that.

I'm sorry to sound impatient, but...

Honestly, I'm surprised that the only American stereotypes they managed to stuff into that was that we have a low average IQ and that we have big guns. And frankly, those can hardly be called stereotypes.

    What to do in FTB?

I've done most of Thaumcraft. The only thing I haven't done with it are the ancient shard things, but I'm getting to that. Bees I haven't touched yet. I'm building the section of my biome where I'm going to have the majority of my bee breeding, so it's not quite finished. Aside from that... I...

    What to do in FTB?

I have a mental defect in that I cannot build purposeless structures or machines. Purpose is the motivation I derive to actually build the damn thing.

    Performance in the next pack?

Well, there are two ways this could work in regards to resources. The most logical way would be to spread out the resource generation to scale with how it is now. You could probably go ENTIRE CHUNKS without finding anything. And by chunks, I mean the current size of a chunk. Obviously in this...

To: much coal. There's much of you. Stop existing in such a manner. Sincerely; Concerned citizen.

Well, we've got three choices. 1: Let the thread die. 2: Repeat the same discussion three hundred times. 3: Ramble on a tangent.

That was actually a universal message. That said, that last sentence was probably a little over the top.
