    Getting started with rotarycraft

I have a railcraft tank with lubricant which feeds all my rotary stuff, so I assume as long as some lubricant is in the tank all engines/gears are lubricated. You don't want to use any other mod at all or just for the workshop?

    Getting started with rotarycraft

The "display" has a recipe with and without ender pearl, but the belts could be a problem. Can't you "import" 2 cows with golden lasso from another island? Thy hydrokinetic engine doesn't have a UI.

    Getting started with rotarycraft

I hope it helps, the manual is a good documentation but not really a guide. I would advise you to test some of the more complicated builds in a test world in creative, blowing up a row of diamond shafts is not too funny. ;) You are right, the extractor in its state as a "one-in-all" block...

    Getting started with rotarycraft

It seems like a neat idea to only use RotaryCraft from start on, but if you never tested RC before not an easy task. At first, I think using the Smeltery to make the tools is fine, RC provides no swords/tools, so you need some other mod to provide you with these. You have touched a lot of...

    Modular Powersuits out of fashion?

I thought IC2 added flight to the QChest, or just the jetpack flight? (I am not that high in tech tree yet)

    Modular Powersuits out of fashion?

What makes the GraviChest that much better than the QuantumChest? The controls of flying, or are there some other options?

Why do people like Thermal Expansion so much?

I think people like it because the machines are so easy to use and cheap, for my taste a little too much all-in-one wonderblocks/ducts and I really hate teleporting things, but people just prefer the easy way instead of transporting things with pipes/rails like it's more realistic (the way I...

    Weekly News Issue #3

Thanks for keeping us informed what's happening. :) Is ExtraBees/Trees also planned for Monster or only for DW20? Are you considering more mods for Monster or is this more or less the final list of mods of the pack? Really looking forward to a stable release of Monster (if Binnies Mods are...

    Horizons 1.0.9 and Monster 1.0.3

Ok, I have thought the same principles are used for all packs because, you know, they are in the FTB Launcher so part of the FTP packs. Binnie released a new version a couple hours ago (1.8 pre1), so hopefully it will work out that way. :) (Finally more beeees, yeah)

    Horizons 1.0.9 and Monster 1.0.3

They are using OpenBlocks in the Direwolf pack, so I don't think it's that serious.

[64x] Soartex Fanver - Smooth and Clean FTB

Thanks for the infos, interesting to read from someone actually affected by the changes of the system, although I don't understand why IC2 and CB decided to work against the new changes, seems not like a good idea to run different systems. Great news about divine, I started currently playing...

[64x] Soartex Fanver - Smooth and Clean FTB

@shoeboxam Thanks for the fast update. Do you think the new format is better because you can mix different resolutions and other things or is the handling for so many files especially with mods not worth it?

Anyone here using Railcaft Iron tank?

You have written "items" twice so I think it's not a writing mistake. An iron tank is for liquids not items. If you want to put cans and such things in it, you have to right click upon the gui and put it in manually. Not true, I have all my input/output valves at the bottom layer of my tanks...

[PROTOTYPE] Project Monster, a solution to Steves Cart automining

There is no such thing as "overthinking" or "too complex" if you have fun building it. ;) I mentioned the chunkloading because I try to keep the loaded chunks as low as possible. I warn you, if you start using railcraft you start to love to see the trains automatically transport your stuff...

[PROTOTYPE] Project Monster, a solution to Steves Cart automining

That's true and I forgot to add that but most port of it is stone, dirt or gravel/flint so even with 75% capacity it reaches a long distance. My post above about enderchests and teleporting seems too whiny, because they have some reason (interdimensional) but I don't like them in one world...

[PROTOTYPE] Project Monster, a solution to Steves Cart automining

I didn't read your whole post because I looked at the pictures and I saw a enderchest so I am not interested in this build, but I consider 36 stacks for internal storage not really small. You can mine an tunnel about 92 blocks long with the hardened drill or 28 with the galgadorian drill. Fuel...

How do you feel about an Advanced Jetpack

The threadstarter asked about our opinion, if we like it or not and if we will use it, I answer what I think and this is your response? Really?

How do you feel about an Advanced Jetpack

I think the basic electric jetpack is way too cheap to make (lake most IC2 stuff) and uses nearly no energy (80EU/sec in hover mode compared to over 8000EU/sec with the GraviChest). Imo the GraviChest is well balanced (really expensive, uses lots of energy), but the electric jetpack and also...

    Why i hate Xycraft

Sadly this is unlikely to change and I have to agree about the "copy and make cheaper" method, really bad behavior, and now everytime I see Soaryn in the Direwolf video I have to think about this crap.

    Why i hate Xycraft

Judging mod features which are not yet released is not really right, but if the tanks are released like they are in the direwolf videos, they are way too overpowered and cheap. I mean at first they said they want to make new things and then basically copy the tank feature from railcraft and...
