    Not sure if it will help but I run my void jar pipes on the opposite side of the alembics away from the construct so that I never have to use a wand to disconnect them.

    Since we are talking about pipes and fluids again, is there any early game method to automatically fill a cauldron so I can get clean dusts faster? Standing on top of it with a bucket in my hand right next to my water siding tank is tedious when I have to do stacks at a time.

    Or you can build a tiny 1x1 smeltery, then melt down cobblestone (compressed works even better) and get enough seared stone to build a normal sized smeltery. I am not sure if you can use the seared stone to make the scorched bricks but if not it at least saves you the resources you will need...
