    [1.7.10][WIP]Industry Gigant[BQ][GregTech+Rotarycraft]

ElC is primarily for power distribution, mainly in cases of evenly splitting power among N machines, which would be costly, render-heavy, and inefficient to do with shafts.

No. And most people still claim it is impossible to automate.

    [ReactorCraft] ReC Mechanics Thread

As of v15 (I believe) I rewrote the targeting code to be a weighted random as opposed to the old solution, so it can supply power to multiple things and the stupidity of "North, then South, then West, etc" rule is no longer applied.

No. That should work, but putting them two blocks down also works.

    Lost player progress

Part of your player data was lost or corrupted. The "FailChC" thing is unrelated and not serious.

Mod Feedback ChromatiCraft questions and suggestions

For now, break the inserter. The opening of GUIs is a known issue without a good fix. This is only partly true. Different recipes have different XP values - "Core" recipes like crystalline stone, runes, and repeaters give far more - and all non-core recipes have limits on how much XP you can...

A lower neutron cross-section would make it absorb less. This is simply because water would absorb some of the neutron energy - either slowing them or absorbing them entirely - and reduce efficiency.

One correction: The reason for breeder reactors using sodium instead of water has nothing to do with thermodynamics, but instead nuclear physics: the neutron velocity from a breeder reaction is such that water absorbs the neutrons, wasting them. Sodium does not have this problem.

This is false. Yes it is. Also, the Fluid Extractor can take in power from the bottom as well, and does not require water below it.

More clarifications/corrections: rand.nextInt(N) returns from zero to N-1 (this is why you can get an "N must be positive" crash), meaning .nextInt(4) is actually a 25% chance. Though the LP turbine's max power on water is coded to 2GW, in practice, it averages around 950MW, as you cannot get...

Some corrections and clarifications: One of the main appeals of the thorium reactor not stated here is its strong negative void coefficient, i.e. its reactivity and neutron emission drops sharply with temperature over a certain value (this same curve is what makes it need to be kickstarted by...
