Yes, Ender IO alloy smelter recipe is there... and this missing recipe is from two different machines, Windows box and an OSx box. I did a forced update to my files from my FTB launcher and that fixed it. I can now see the recipe... I should be good from here. Thanks for the help!

Can't put either in the induction smelter

Looks to be completely missing, if it were there and just an ore Dic issue, that is something I could get around. The Enderium Armor plate recipe clearly calls them out, and they appear on NEI, but no way to make them. (per NEI) Was not sure if it was a hidden recipe like the Thaumcraft stuff...

How to put 5 items in through satellite? Machine Frame (Basic) Maybe also add a supplier pipe nxet to the assembly table to keep a couple bits in... will try that now. Yup, that worked. Satellite set to keep 2x the recipe in the table.

My logistics pipes are being a bit derpy with the assembly table. They send the materials, make the stuff, then pull the item and send it to stock, forgetting that there is a pending build/request... I am sending and pulling from the table, am I doing something wrong?

I am entirely leery of flight in any form TBH... In my mind it's is part of the concept: exposure to the void destroys blocks but leaves your fragile glider wings alone? That, and plummeting into the void will make recovery of materials impossible. But, again, my goal is to have a skyblock type...

OK, pulled the bottom out of my three Water Wheels and replaced that with signs, Funneled the squid down to a 5x5x5 kill room where they drop into Witch water, 6 Iron spikes. I have a stack of tears within the first hour... GLORIOUS!

Nice!! I was already planning to convert the bottom of one of my Water Wheels into a drop trap for the squids that spawn! Love this!

I've not looked at Nuclear Reactors, so can't speak to that.

Thats how I got my seed, but after running my spawner I had 300+ slimeballs in an hour or two, and the spawner can be repurposed at any time.

Things I learned so far for smoothest (early/mid) IES experience: 1) Using your first Resonant Machine block to make Ender Tank Frames will make your life MUCH easier. A combination of Ender Chest, Ender Pouch, Remote Orderer, and Request Logistics pipe means having total access to everything...

The spawn/drop combo tower I started with was a great starting point, but as noted here, the need to have dedicated spawners for Slimes, spiders and Endermen will rapidly make it obsolete. The important thing to know/remember, get a grinder on your passive spawner ASAP and start filling drums...
