    Yes, traveling 10 kilometers is standard MO for TFC.

    um well yes there are a few tricks to finding different rock types that often don't get spelled out very clearly Try caving or digging down to see what other rock types might be below the surface. Also check the hot springs and wells to see if they contain any different rocks.

    Check the editmode.cfg file to see if edit mode is set to false on both the client and the server. Also try using the command "/hqm quest" I have seen this bug a few times before, but not entirely sure whats causing it.

    Ok I found a solution. The script is trying to check if you have enough wind in the drill before letting you craft the mechanism. You can go ahead and add this recipe to the Steamcraft.zs file but its going to eat the drill if you dont have more than 100 points of wind on it...

    That config is set to false for a reason as it hides the normal Buildcraft Recipes. Thanks for letting me know what is causing this issue, I will pass it on to the mod developer.
