    Steam, Biofuel, nitrodiesel, plasma, or even lava in barrels should all be fairly lossless.

    Thaumcraft Thirsty Tank is another excellent option. If you're good with magic stuff you can do this prior to getting a macerator and going to the nether, I believe.

    So I made some Neutronium. And without really thinking it through I macerated an ingot into dust. I then tossed it into a scanner to create a data orb. I'm not sure how long it will take for 3.2 to hit, but I'm going to guess that it will be less than the 118 days that this dust will take...

    There is a way to make your own hungry nodes with ravenous bees, but I didn't do that. This is just a pile of empowering bees left to work for months. Yeah, it will energize at a very high cVis level heh. One of these would feed dozens of advanced alchemical furnaces.

    Ahh, I was referring not to 5.09 in 3.2, but moreso to GT 5.08.33 in the 3.1.x :) More excited for 3.2 long-term, but also would like to get mk3 fusion working proper :)

    Slider, can you replicate this in your own SMP world? My son and I have both used fire focus with no ill effects on the official server. Could just be that yours is bugged out? @Jason McRay would you have a rough estimate of when you might be able to update the pack to the GT version...

    Takes a lot of work/time to get to mk3. I haven't even bothered generating power from fusion though yet. I've just been pushing through the tiers. I want to get enough Neutronium to make an ultimate batter and then do sustained mk3 fusion and start my 27,000 year ticker.

    How many EU/t does that translate to though using IC2 stirling generators? Wouldn't it be accurate to say that you can get more EU/t out of a 5x5x5 by going with a GT5u LHE into GT turbines (with all the associated downsides of using GT turbines, of course)?

    MOX is good at that stage, I think. I'd also consider looking at Nitro Diesel or IC2 Biomass->Biogas. Lave in a LHE is also an option. Pretty sure 5x5x5 liquid reactors are the proper thing to be doing at that stage, but honestly I'm personally scared of them because they require external...
