I don't want to sound rude but are you joking? Even if it wasn't possible to create them out of iron/kill one and use an anvil to make a grinder you could go to the end build a bridge out of range and then make a 2 high shelter and farm them. It's easy

Balance is essentially impossible in any game, as its based on level of skill. In a sandbox game like Minecraft or more specifically FTB it becomes even harder. Some people hate GregTech some people hate EE3, and thus won't use them. People will always complain, no matter what. SC2 Tree farms...

I think what the OP is wondering is what causes more lag, lots of timers or one that sends a pulse wirelessly?

I find it amusing that people complain about GregTech ruining FTB for adding more grinding an generally slowing the game down, whereas people complain about EE3 for being too fast

I do kind of agree with this. Difficulty is hard to quantify before you introduce the concept to a sandbox game. One of my favourite games from the past was the Monster Hunter series, where a large aspect of the difficulty is around time spent grinding. To kill the hardest enemies you normally...

I'll admit that I loved EE2. I tried to use it as little as possible to try and understand the other mods, but man was the condenser useful for building. Probably explains why when I played tekkit I lived in a castle, and in FTB I live in a cave. I just dont like gathering building blocks

Nah I'm just running it off my laptop. And everyone on the server is a mate so I'm not sure how much they'll appreciate curb stomping. Plus they are so bad when it comes to mods its unlikely they'll realise/care that GT has changed anything by the time they actually make a macerator

Eh...I disagree. I'm not a great fan of MPS, but until TE adds tools IC2 is always gonna be useful. Oh and jetpacks/lasers
