known issue. to complete the quest, use "/hqm edit" in the ingame chat, and follow its instructions. you can toss the book into lava afterwards if you dont want it :)

this. best option is to remove all those mods (using a test world to test this current crash issue, so you're main world isn't destroyed by removing these items), and test WITHOUT your own mods in it. then, add one back at a time. create a test bed, verify, then add one at a time.

the CompactStorage Backpack works fine for me. That's weird. an item in a backpack, the backpack put into another, then that one put into a chest..no crashing. are you on the FTB Launcher or the Curse client? Curse client works fine for me. have you made any changes to the modpack...

I think you made it so the game thinks there's zero storage spots to render o.o you confuse it. sadly i cannot seem to find the source for Compact Storage, so i cannot examine the code myself. this is fascinating though

the refiner and cutter MUST be placed on an item or cable or conduit that can transmit power. known bug, nothing we can do. this is the only way to get it to work. so put it on a capacitor or fluxduct or energy conduit.

1 and 2, I cannot be of much help, but Caigan will see it. You can also turn off the Bird mod if you'd like. As for stacking shipments, 10k is the lowest worth doing. 4k and 1k should work. How odd. But 4k+4k=8k, then add two separate 1k's to make a 10k, the minimal shippable shipment.

what were you using to profile it? that's amazing. also i've noticed an "undefined" in the chunk update section takes up..sometimes 50% of the entire update cpu usage. would be nice to diagnose it further.

Indeed, things have changed. I tested on lamp of growth, versus none. Then I surrounded a 3x3 of Ender Lilies with Lamps, fed from a crucible with infinite fuel and seeds to burn..the surrounded one was a practical wildfire of ender pearls, grew incredibly fast.
