Reinstall Java and the FTB launcher that should fix the problem.

I don't believe there is any quick way to switch between versions. Just backup your worlds and other data then download the 1.1.7 Unleashed server and then add your old worlds and data in.

If you have a firewall it my be blocking FTB running normally. If you have a firewall set FTB to be allowed or lower your firewall settings. Hopefully this helped Brendan

I would recommend deleting all version of Java then Installing the latest 64bit Java. I Hoped this helped. Regards Brendan

To update FTB Unleashed from 1.1.3 to 1.1.7 select the Unleashed pack then select the dropdown arrow where it says Recommend or 1.1.3 and then select the 1.1.7 option. Hopefully this helped. Kind Regards Brendan

FPS is based on hardware there is hard to point you in a direction I recommend trying to lower setting to remove the strain on your computer. Regards Brendan
