I think GregTech is pretty cool when you're mid-game/end-game. It's huge fun to collect all the materials needed, on the most creative ways. Soul shards mod and BuildCraft/Thermal Expansion are really needed. Forestry and Extra Bees help a lot, as well. They really speed up the game. Also...

Well, I have a tree farm so the charcoal isn't a problem really. But yeah, if it's cheaper and better, then you should use it xD I really should mess around with boilers in survival :D

I didn't power up the other boiler, yet. I hadn't the ~700 buckets of biofuel required for it, I could test it. I don't think it's going to keep up very well, but it should be possible.

Update: if the boiler is around ~500°C you'll get a surplus of planks. On 10 minutes I'm around 2k planks.
