I never really had a problem with the old popular teleport pipes mod crashing me once I figured out that the most common crash everyone experienced was if you were flying with EE and trying to use a pipe GUI at the same time, so I don't see how one relatively simple to avoid crash was so terrible.

Do those minions ever rise up? The advanced golems say such suspicious things that it makes me not want to use them...

If you still don't have enough tin, you can turn on the generation of tin for other mods in their configs. Just don't turn on IC2s tin and copper generations because the IDs for them conflict with other mods.

I think the inventory thing would probably be best. The issue were having on my small server is with theft, not actual griefing of standing structures.

The creepiest(and in my opinion best) thing about the brain in a jar is that the little evil eyes follow you around, and the brain turns to look at you. <3 Anyway, I made a circle of brain jars around a pig and there was no murdering, sadly. EDIT: Sometimes they do shake, though.
