    You know, I hadn't looked at those, and was just noticing them... hmm, I'll have to try that out. I use DW20's pack. Would love to hear if anyone has come up with novel ideas that don't use those either, though! Love the creative solutions that MC evokes.

    I just updated to the latest Direwolf20 pack. I can't get magmatic engines to accept lava. I've tried directly connecting tanks, placing lava buckets, cells and cans in the fuel spot or tank spot, etc. Nothing I do results in lava going into the magmatic engine.

    Point taken, but my personal take on it is that if it doesn't bother Slowpoke, then who are we to get into that discussion? If it does bother Slowpoke, then he should probably consider just doing only the ultimate pack. Personally, I'd be fine with just the ultimate pack.

    Wabbit, I think the purpose of the magic / tech packs being broken out, is because some love a lot of the mods, but feel the tech stuff doesn't fit well with Minecraft as a low tech game.
