Well, having mod packs will hopefully prevent looking for a server with the 50+ mods you like to play with. And even if you do manage this horrid task, there is still a chance that the server's community will be comparable with buffalo crap.

So, while I have been mining, I have found a block that looks somewhat like coal ore, but it is called crude oil. When I used NEI to find out what I could do with it, nothing showed up. I have also found oil sands... It's similar, but more... sandy. So, are these unfinished blocks, or is there...

Well, it mostly depends on if you want gregtech. Mindcrack has it, DW20 dos'nt. There are also a few minor differences, but I can't recall them off the top of my head.

The goal in FTB? Well, I would like to be able to pull a lever and be showered with diamonds. I don't know if it's a feasable goal, but it's a goal...

You can try and push them into the portal... I don't know if that mechanic works for the twilight forest portals though.

What are you planning on doing with that? One-shotting the wither maybe?

I am pretty sure you need to do crazy things with thaumcraft to pump flux into the atmosphere. I have no idea how you would do it though.
