From what i've heard the mods in that pack have specific gregtech configs that increase difficulty in line with GT.

No mob is difficult when you have quantum armor and a laser. Only tedious grinds are considered difficulty.

Right.....I know you love GregTech, but could we hold off on unfounded inflammatory remarks directed towards other mods? Thanks .

Trying to bring the discussion into a more productive stance at the moment, i would like it if the community would halt the bickering and maybe look to the future.

    1. GregTech documentation is not really anything spectacular. 2. Lack of documentation can generally be fixed quickly, especially as a mod becomes more popular.

As long as we can get another mod in such as Atomic Science and others like it that add the same or similar aspects that GregTech/IC2 do i see no problem with his mod being quarantined to its own pack.

O.o I like this, If it were able to replace IC2/GregTech and avoid all the baggage that comes along with it that would be awesome. Having a fully integrated MJ system that includes a lot more machines and power generation types would be so much better than having to fiddle about with two...

    You would be correct.

The future of FTB Modpacks pt 2

Thats...unfortunate. As i said whatever the Gregtech centered pack does is of no consequence to me, i will not use it. However, i like some of the things he adds without all the extra baggage. I would add his mod separate and do the configs myself, i've tried it before, but they have simply been...

The future of FTB Modpacks pt 2

As i said in a previous post, i requested that Slowpoke possibly present this idea to both developers and hopefully come to a resolution. It was just an idea and i'd like to see them get their differences sorted out.

The future of FTB Modpacks pt 2

This is what i was trying to say, simply keep Gregtech with altered configs in the main modpack, try to talk to the developers and come to this compromise to allow TiC and this Gregtech together. It would be better for all end users that enjoy the mod but dislike the invasions it attempts.

The future of FTB Modpacks pt 2

In my honest opinion, Slowpoke. I love the Gregtech machines, as it adds new stuff to IC2 in mid-late game, along with some end-game stuff. My problem is with the changes to vanilla, and changes to other packs. I want the part of Gregtech that adds, not takes away from Minecraft. Include...

Also, would it be better to run a Battery Box as a buffer between the Solar Panels and engine?

I've read your posts about Blutricity and Solar arrays, but i am having trouble finding the ideal circular setup to power a Blulectric Engine (124-128 panels) that still allows me to send a Redstone signal to the engine. I'm running the engine to a Redstone Energy Cell and running Energy Conduit...
