I can't give a full tutorial about the inventory editing, but nbtexplorer is pretty self explaining. Just make a backup / copy of your <playername>.dat file before loading it in nbtexplorer. Change stuff and see if it's the right one, if it aint restore the backup and try again.

Isn't that with most servers? Atleast the servers i have hosted / ran i always hosted for my friends and me to play on. The way i see ForgeCraft : it's friends who play together and in this case even help eachother (with bugtesting etc) so that we (the community) can install the server software...

On the Forge 515 there is no stable Optifine. I myself am still using the C2 of my machine, it has some bugs yes but atleast blockupdates / water / lave updates work so i don't care about relogging once i a while (makes me aware that i need to get coffee :P)

I have seen this error quiet abit, only have no idea what's causing it. Your java is a few updates behind, not sure if that has anything to do with it (prob not whould be to easy solved :P)

We can't garantuee there won't be any errors, i do know that several forum members did this upgrade without problems.
