you don't need to put a copy of the -ee.lutsu.... in each group they should all be in the default group, those just allow the commands to work not give the permission. I use a different perm system but as an example you need it similar to this Groups

I haven't done it myself, I have only played on a mcpc 1.4.7 server with it in the past. I believe you have to use the mytown with pex perms, not the regular pex or you have to add the permissions to the base perm file for it to work in 1.4.7. I will look into but, I have been a bit tied up...

Actually Mytown has a config option for allow/disallow unconnected claims. If you use either the built in economy, or one of the addons it easily prevents such a senario. However, I do agree using Prism and World edit/guard also make sense.

yes, you can use groupmanager, I am using it on 1.5.2 and it works fine, I believe the 1.4.7 forum states that it can be used as well.

Try reading it again, he explains he has it working on 1.4.7 with MCPC+, you have to be careful of the perm system you use as pex will not work, and the permbridge he made is only 1.5/1.6.2 compatible as that is when he took over the mod. Basically, follow the directions, and use another bukkit...

If you actually read through the posts (try the last page). It does work with MCPC+ and bukkit in 1.4.7. It just takes a very specific setup, I know I played on a 1.4.7 MCPC+ FTB Ultimate server with Mytown installed :).

You don't seem to be understanding the point that you can set the perms in Mytown for the wilds, just as if it was a Town, meaning that you can turn off the wand of excavation outside of a persons town for the whole map. If they feel the need to use a wand or quarry in a spot they can claim that...

If you set the perms for the wilds using the mytownadm commands you can disable almost all the griefable mod items...

I agree Mytown is about the best choice for grief protection on a modded server, as it protects from about 99% of the mods made. It has a new author now, who has been very active in updating it as well as a few addon mods in beta tight now it add more chat and econ options as well.
