A transposer into a lava block will do the same thing as a void pipe, in that the transposer deletes the item instead of actually outputting it into the lava block, to save on lag/etc. Good luck!

Ah, true, they are likely a good deal faster than even a fully powered BC quarry. The main downside of them is that they are at least two magnitude more complicated to set up compared to the BC quarry, and as such I don't think they are really even on the same page (as noted above in my post).
