I agree with you totally, would love to be able to play a world that can update with the minecraft releases, without having to do map resets every few months, maybe one day this will be possible :)

The problem with this is by the time 1.6 comes out 1.7 will be on the horizon and you will be in exactly the same boat again, still playing 1.47 hoping for a release that lasts longer than a few months so you can upgrade your FTB.

Will be the first thing I do once unleashed is downloaded, should be no problem at all, maybe a few ID changes here and there, can't imagine there will be any other problems though, will also add logistic pipes and a few other mods as well like liquid xp and the other immibis mods.

Absolutly turn on gregtech hard mode, anyone who does not wish to use it is free to use ngt or change to easy mode in the config, cannot see what the problem is ?

I'm not sure what you mean by development ? As far as I can tell all the FTB team really do is gather the mods together and alter the config files the same as you and I do. This I think is half the problem as they cannot alter any code in the mods themselves so any bugs or such they have to...

If I was to guess and it would be just a guess, allowing for all the mods to become stable ......, I would say 3 Months would not be too far off the mark give or take a few weeks either side of that
