[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Bring the strongboxes with yourself for extra storage space, and use tanks for carrying water instead of stuffing your inventory with bottles. Should be enough to carry everything you find.

Huh. I believe it was 5 minutes, same as despawn time, when PC first came out and Dire spotlighted it.

...I was thinking of just using an item valve instead of a dropper up top.

Just keep in mind, when water touches pyrotheum, the the block touching it and the block behind it turn into stone. Put your water source block at least 3 away from the pyrotheum or you'll lose it.

I have seen a Giant Zombie glitch out of my mob trap and into a corridor, then stand there and suffocate because the corridor is 2 tall. I also rather regularly take damage if I stand too close to the half-block gap I hit their legs through, and I found non-giant mobs in the corridor on occasion.

There's a mod called Lockdown, the hardcore only thing is in its config.

Alright, my tips would be: * Rush the HarvestCraft quest. You can really delay the point diminishing returns kick in by eating rice soup. Really, first 4 iron for shears, then 1 for the chopping board. * An overhang of glass covers stops spiders from climbing your walls. ** Stone walls (the...

PurpleMentat discusses SFM being totally OP with Iskandar in the interview. The plan is that the Inventory Manager block might or might not become more expensive ("machine frame or something"), but overall a lot of the nerfs are there to stop people from doing things the way they always do...

I guess the wiki has incorrect information then.

Steve's Factory Manager. Moves items and fluids to and from inventories, redstone emitters and receivers, block placing/breaking, collecting/spitting out items, all programmed in the form of a flow graph. Very powerful and fairly cheap.

I know it's supposed to look like they stack for ease of access, the same as in ME terminals. The cabinet still holds 270 items (same ID) total, while the advanced one holds 540 of non-stackables of any kind.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Holding nonstackable items efficiently is the purpose of the filing cabinet.

It's a "Dust Planet" biome, but nothing spawns in deserts. Need to check, but I wouldn't expect any spawns.

Unfortunately, there is a high possibility Dire learns about the cards while not recording.

If you don't make a dust block, you can't put your dusts in the crucible at all. The crucible does not oredouble, it just enables casting of tool parts.

I found moats to be unproductive. It's hard to hit mobs from the outside, and when I go out to cull creepers in the morning it's better when they are spread out. A bit more walking to collect the bones and rotten flesh perhaps, but that's good enough at the beginning and later on I can just...

You can already do that, sort of. When the constructor is out of power, it's just stuck on whatever progress it had. You can initiate the forming of a shell without any power, and the constructor will just stay at 0% until you give it power. The only change necessary is to insert into the mod an...

The key is to make a hole in the place where you want the water to end, right before where the cobblestone is supposed to form, then place the water, then place the lava. Water will fall into the hole and not advance. I know for sure that the node works when the cobble is bordered by a flowing...

I'd say it's because Crash Landing early game is an engaging puzzle of the most efficient usage of time until you get to the point of food and water security. At least, that's what it is for me. PurpleMentat's exploitation of Minecraft fluid mechanics is what made setting up cobblegen easy for...
