[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

The one directly south starts at ~400 block away.

They don't "communicate with the network". They just slow down when their buffer gets full. Similarly, the machines run slower and consume less per tick when their buffer isn't full.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

It's been added, but like other recent additions it's only in the 1.7.10 version.

It should be in the output, right clicking the item in the whitelist. Also, the command should be set to 'run once for every output'.

In 1.7.10 there are tooltips with adjacent blocks, and if the block is a sign you can read the text.

Rush quests to get to making rice soup ASAP. Triple manpower should be enough to rush dirt production for sieving dirt so you can get more food types and later big farms. Soybeans are your friend and will give you the ability to make very good food, and punji sticks will let you make mob traps...

You can use a Chisel chisel to get mossy cobble and stone brick instantly.

If you do not yet have a pulverizer producing gravel all the time, then you are at the point where you don't need more than a single generator because you're only using power for the sync shell. I'm not hung up on survivalist generators. People were calling for making generators quest reward...

The fuel is itself produced infinitely from sieving gravel/tree farm, both are exactly as free. The effort of the initial setup is everything.

No point to using alumite instead of iron for handles, they have the same multiplier.

I just upgraded my regular tools to alumite, plus an excavator because the regular shovel wears down too quickly.

Unlike Extra Utilities, Mekanism has a configurable power generator output on top of the ability to change recipes. The only unchangeable part is the mechanics of the generator's functioning. Surrounding the generator with lava makes it significantly more difficult for mass use than just...

My food list: Pre-mob farm: Rice soup until diminishing returns start, then supplement with fruit salad, juices and stock, occasionally spider eye soup. After killing the ~100 zombies needed to drop potatoes and carrots: Vegetable soup (requires both carrots and potatoes), rice soup, garden...

Too bad the higher tiers of ore processing aren't feasible in this pack, as 4x requires a ton of water. And getting to 3x is a bit too easy, EIO is more balanced with their 3x. TE itemducts have the same problem, but at least logistical transporters do not backstuff.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

One thing that was brought up was that the survivalist generator is to easy to replicate en masse for industrial uses when it's supposed to be a early, weak energy generation option. Well, Mekanism's starting generator, the heat generator, is fairly inefficient on fuel but can run for free (for...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

If 1.7.10 is going to be a complete overhaul, I'd like to see Mekanism take TE's place as the main tech mod. It brings a lot of content to the table, and has a better high-tech feel to fit in the pack. The pipes are more similar to TE's than EIO's, at least for basic uses, which seems to be a...

This fails when you start hoeing grass, because the amount of recipes you can make explodes. With tofu in particular.

HQM lives are different from shells. In fact, this pack is by default on vanilla hardcore because the HQM lives system doesn't notice the shells.

When you pull items out of an item valve, it pulls items in the world next to it, kind of like a hopper. If you push into it, it spits them out, but completely straight unlike droppers. Pulling from/pushing into a Block Gate's inventory makes it act as a block breaker/placer. Mind you, it...
