    Backup world script

NEI is used to save bookmarked inventories I believe. It's up to you, however. Not needed in a backup, as if your computer crashes anyways, the NEI stuff shouldn't be affected.

Buildcraft quarry (What is best way to power it???)

I setup a pretty nice lava pump station in the Nether which produces lava fast enough to handle about 16 magmatic engines. That's 64 MJ/t for my precious quarry, however I only use 4 since the other 12 are back at base providing power there.

    3x3 full-speed Nether pump

As I'm short on diamonds at the moment, I'll stick to making tons of golden gates for now :p

    3x3 full-speed Nether pump

I got the iron OR and the engine working with pipe wire. going to try the others tomorrow. its late :p

    3x3 full-speed Nether pump

Ah, I get it now. Never got red pipe wire to work before, but I shall try this and see how it goes. ^_^

How Do I Power A Industrial Centrifuge? (Mindcrack Pack 1.4.6)

It gives you 2 small titanium dust. 4 small titanium dust = 1 titanium dust, which must be smelted in an industrial blast furnace. I hope you have a lot of steel prepared... and as the poster below, it goes in an industrial electrolyzer (not the normal one) instead of centrifuge.

    3x3 full-speed Nether pump

I am not exactly sure what you mean, but I made this system to handle more than one pump at a time and endure high loads, therefore it is crucial to independently control the item transfers so as to not overflow the hopper. The autarchic gates check to see if there is inventory space via the...

    3x3 full-speed Nether pump

I have updated it from 3x3x3 to 3x3x4 to allow for slightly more control and speed and preventing item spill: Note that the Magmatic engine and liquid transposer are both connected directly to the pump. This is because buildcraft pipes are too slow for the transposer. The engine is hooked...

Will RPIC(EU/blutricity power converters) come back?

Oh, you wanted to do it the other way around. Is there even a way to convert MJ to BC? If you want a lot of BC, make a few windmills. They're not that bad to craft once you get a flax farm going.

Will RPIC(EU/blutricity power converters) come back?

For now, you could do a two step conversion like so: BC > MJ > EU

    3x3 full-speed Nether pump

new 3x3x4 (x, y, z) design: 3x3x3 (older): It's probably been invented before but this is the most compact I've gotten so far with Nether pumps. It's also portable due to the Ender Chests. i.e. I can setup a receiving station anywhere as long as I have another set of Ender Chests and a...

My bad. I hadn't been keeping up with the whole thread.

Different people have a different envision of what's fun. That you don't like GT is perfectly fine, but there are people like me and Silvas that love what GT has to offer.

    Mods updated for 1.4.6

They are doing testing and Mystcraft is having issues getting working in 1.4.6 Be patient.

    I just realized something funny.

By that math, that's just around 2.22 MJ/t per magmatic engine in a system using magma crucibles.

I just got a great idea for a server application. If one is unable to follow said simple instructions, maybe they aren't fit for the server!

When the updated FTB pack is released will you try to "recover" things from your old save file?

I'm going to try and use a program called mIDas Gold (takes a world file and changes block IDs based on how you configure it) to convert my IDs. if that fails, then no issue restarting.

    I just realized something funny.

Hmm another thing came to mind. Couldn't I technically quarry the Nether and produce lava for 4000MJ and in turn use that lava to power a magmatic engine to generate a net profit of 14,000 MJ? Self-powering Nether quarry? I think YES.

    I just realized something funny.

Keep in mind the engines are upgraded with iron tube which means 5 eu/t for 2 mj/t. Lava cells claim to make 50,000 EU (which is what I'm using.. not pumping direct lava) however IC2 wiki states 20,000 EU. I'll do the math for both. That means 1 bucket/cell produces 50k EU, thus 20k MJ OR...
