For me the lava smeltery and the factory share the first spot. Lava smeltery for cheap bulk/maintenance smleting, factory for on-demand smelting.

LP requires different resources, but personally I think it's not really cheaper than AE.

Industrialist is 8 MJ/tick. Dynamos were 40 RF/tick at some stage during TE3 development but all of them now produce 80 RF/tick. The steam one takes the same amount of steam as well so they are pretty much identical.

Wrong. Magic World 2 has Dye Trees and they spawn naturally in Rainbow Forest biomes.

It doesn't work like that. It doesn't need to be synced, but as @McJty said, it has a maximum distance. The distance is larger than the one you can go just by using the anchors though.

New idea: chicken trophy + autonomous activator. No idea if it works, but I don't think anyone suggested that yet =)
