    [1.7.10] Material Energy^4

This message is telling you that the server and the client don't agree on the version of the mod CompactMachines in use. One is 1.16, one is 1.12. They must match. IIRC the server one is old, so take the file compactmachines-1.7.10-1.16.jar from your client's mod folder, and copy it into the...

Probably would be something intestinal if I ate that many compressed cookies! Thanks for the tip though, I haven't gone through all the community spatials yet, as I was trying to save the cookies for the quests.

Looking for advice on making more compressed cookies. I've collected all the wools, and 2 19x19 wheat farms + minechem making wheat on 20k RF/t just aint cuttin it. I mean, not even close. I've avoided Flux-Crystals so far, seems like a really complicated setup for triple compressed cookies...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

FTB 1.6.4 and Java 8 don't play well together. You have 2 choices. Install Java 7 (latest is Update 75) and configure FTB to use it instead. -or- Remove PermGen setting in FTB config. If you still can't run 1.6.4 packs on Java 8, then check this link with information on how to make FTB happy...

Did you miss the part where I said I just tested it? Say what you want, it worked. For me, shears didn't yield Mn either, and they don't stack so you ahve to put them in 1 at a time. To each his own I suppose.

Easiest source of the chemical Mn is to use a chisel on cobblestone and make the purple frequency stuff. Put this by the stack into the decomposer and voila, Mn. I put 1 stack of colored cobblestone (Purple frequency) in and got 14 molecules of Potassium Permanganate (which yields Mn when...

For the octadic capacitors, you can create the needed molecule in Minechem. Simply decompose the Manganese ingots into Mn. Then combine with C, H, and O to make C9H7MnO3. This is basic Minechem mechanics.

Seems like all the metals from Tinker's Defense have this problem (Queens Gold, Dogbearium, and Aeon Steel). Really annoying to put Aeon Steel on my pickaxe, and not realize you can't repair until it's nearly broken. At that point, it took FOOOOOREVER to auto-repair to full so I could swap out...

I thought the same when I first started playing ME3. Then I started using Florbs (Lava or Pyrotheum). WOW what a difference!

If you are setting up a 1.04 server, don't forget to also copy over WAILA to the server. Otherwise you won't see some of the Tooltip details as you did in SSP.

Is Boni Bacon supposed to be a Secret quest? I got the bag today, but no quest popped up in the book. Also, I can't put the boni bacon in the frame in the VM. Am I missing something obvious?

You make some excellent points here. Generally speaking, the crossbow is simpler to use and packs quite a punch. HOWEVER, and this is a BIG however, the crossbow easily bugs out when you put a TON of redstone on it. When this happens, the weapon causes the game to crash and must be removed...

[1.7.10] Regrowth - A WIP HQM pack - Now Listed!

The mining levels are changed by the mod Iguana's Tinker Tweaks. If you look in the file \config\IguanaTinkerTweaks\HarvestLevelNamesOverride.cfg you can see the mining levels currently being used in your game. This is what I found in mine. Level0=Flint Level1=Copper Level2=Iron...

Correct, but be careful. you cannot smelt down the Metallurgy tool parts, like you can most of the other metals. Once you cast Metallurgy metals you're done.

Run silky-picked redstone ore from the mining disks through the pulverizer. Use the resulting secondary output (the name eludes me!) in the induction smelter with Ferrous ores for guaranteed shiny ingot.

I used water every few blocks around the edge on the main floor, which flowed down the walls to the lower floor. This pushed all the mobs to the middle, and prevented mobs from spawning on the outside half of the floor. That way, when I go down the ladder, I can kill monsters without having...

Anyone else getting massive lag from the TiCon Smeltery? I have a standard 3x3x2 smeltery, and anytime I put lava in the smeltery tank, my game lags HORRIBLY until the lava level settles. I also get occasional lag spikes when pouring out molten metals. I've never seen TiCon do this before.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Super easy with a liquicrafter (actually, it's cheaty because if you set it up right, it can fill a camel pack with just 1B of water.) By the time you can create a liquicrafter though, you probably are set for life on water, so it's not that big a deal to be honest.

I also generally wait to get into AE until I have a good renewable power source. However, with the lack of Jabba and Iron Chests or any other storage mod, I decided to jump into AE immediately (why not, you have a fully ready AE system with terminals, a drive bay, and several 1k/4k drives). I...
