Odd almost looks like trying to run an out of date (or newer then 1.5.2) mod. Is there for server or client, and if for server then where did you download the pack from (ie did you download the parts yourself / take the client download and use that / something else)

That is odd. If there was an issue you think it reset entirely to default. It might not except [] as valid so I would just ban some id that is not an item in there and see how it reacts.

Just thought about this, but how you find that server's ip and know they were using your stuff if they had it renamed? Metrics does not tell you the ips of the servers that use it.

With how many blocks have the ability to place blocks only real shot would be to disable crafting of it then have some method of getting it from a source you can track. Does not stop people stealing/losting them though.
