The crucible isn't at all useless, in fact, it's used for crafting a variety of things throughout Thaumcraft. Though, don't take it from me, I'm still a noob really. :P

Or, if you don't want to cheat and choose a logical and rather sensible alternative -- move away until you're more In-game with TC4 and then find a way to remove the taint from the area. (No expert with Thaumcraft 4 so I have no idea if that's possible, I just know the basics.)

Exterior was difficult to make a like-or-not on but from what's visible it looks great! The Interior is beautiful as well. I really like it.
