Honestly, Treecap isn't that OP when configured correctly. It'll only work with axes, and take the durability out of the axe as if you'd chopped the whole tree. It just means a bit less time spent in the "Stuck in vanilla" phase of the game. :)

Honestly, Technic is too foolhardy, rushing in without permissions, but FTB seems to overcompensate. Private packs should not need permissions, as they're private.

I think I'll actually add the FTB Mindcrack pack to Technic launcher, for the lulz and the convenience.

I use both, I couldn't care less about the politics, because frankly this community needs to grow up and move past it.
