You are right though mc wheat grows each day, what's RL wheat? 3 months, assuming we have 25 years lifespan (with the pv cell efficiency decreasing with time until 0 at 25 years period), that will be around 101 minecraft days until a solar panel completely died. Sounds good to me.

The thing that you can do is to add a maintenance time for them (wiping the solar panels outer glass), since the lifespan of solar panel is very long.

I think you can disable the forestry bronze nerf since the ind. centrifuge recipe will change with the config change, but it will be easier IC2 bronze for sure.

Actually you can use GT alone (with IC2), but things get easier as more mods are installed, i.e RP2 for marble dust and rubies, TE ferrous ore, MFFS monazit ore, silver ores from other mods (since GT galena ore) etc. IC2/GT is pretty hardcore but I don't think many people want to play GT/IC2...
