What happens if you make an infinite pool of water, at Y240 or something, a redpower pump that deploys waters downwards onto the world, what would happen? Would it end up as an underwater world? I wonder, I've never tried it (except a tiny test at ground level, which it flooded the ground)...

you start in creative. only problem so far

it seems to do that in any map. was playing on a different map, but if you die, all entities go missing and you have to relog to see them

they can mine in those worlds as well? or are they all superflat?

why not just make a mystcraft world, with small biomes, containing a desert, jungle, snow, swamp and plains (with small biomes), and enforce people to go into the age (bedrock around spawn, with a portal?). I dont like the idea of having to travel between worlds to check bees.

People might like to compete against their friend(s)?
