More news about FTB's Future. (Important announcement)

That's...not an argument. That's an answer to an implied question. A somewhat argumentative answer, but just an answer.

Okay, if that was an argument, find me the post NJM1564 was arguing against.

If you're so sick of permission arguments, why are you trying to start one? Nobody was actually arguing before you posted your comment. Hopefully nobody will indulge you and start arguing about a topic that was already argued to death ages ago.

More news about FTB's Future. (Important announcement)

I dunno, it sets kind of a weird precedent for FTB to start paying mod devs in order to use their mods.

    Tinkerer's construct balance ideas

I dunno, if I knew nothing about TiCo, I'd probably believe he was stating objective facts. Not once is it even implied in any of his posts that he is stating opinions rather than unassailable facts. The one thing that I would maybe possibly agree on is the fact that TiCo really doesn't belong...

    Problems with automated ore Processing

What I did was have it turn on my engines when the cell was empty, and turn them off when it got full (as long as you're generating more than is being used, it WILL be full for at least a moment). Unfortunately, using gates (unless you have a double-buffer of some kind), there will be brief...

    Problems with automated ore Processing

Yeah, that's because Logistics Pipes don't have a constant energy drain. They only use power when items are passing through, unlike Applied Energistics. Probably the biggest upside of LP is that, if you ever run out of power, you can still access your storage.

    Tinkers Smeltery Automation

To avoid making alloys, you could use two smelteries. One for copper, cobalt, silver, and ferrous ores (and obsidian if you plan to melt any of that down), and another for everything else. That should avoid all of the TiCo and TE alloys, as far as I know. You can put hoppers underneath...

    Resignation

Ugh. People. People are disgusting. Most of them just shouldn't be allowed to use the Internet. Well, I'll reiterate what I said before. I'm a little sad to see you go, although I wouldn't dare to beg you to stay if this is the kind of crap you had to deal with.

There you have it, the final word from one of the launcher devs.

    Problems with automated ore Processing

Yeah, I thought about how interfaces work for a moment, and realized that it would likely work anyway, as long as the side that the interface is on is set to accept input to both internal slots.

    Tinkerer's construct balance ideas

I often say the same thing about GregTech and yet a large number of people still enjoy that mod. Go figure. Everyone plays differently. What one person finds tedious, another finds fun and interesting. I'm really confused by your latest post. You've gone on and on throughout this whole...

That doesn't make any sense, even from a pure marketing standpoint. They'll lose tons of ad revenue when people give up on sitting through that ad and start exporting the instance to MultiMC instead.

You beat me to it, lol. Glad I noticed there was another post before submitting my reply. So yeah, I bet the most you're going to see on the launcher is another little logo next to the Creeperhost one that's already there. No moving ads or anything.

    Problems with automated ore Processing

So, to get back to the OP's question. The simplest way to do this is to eliminate the Logistics Pipes from your setup entirely. Put the interface with the crafting patterns directly adjacent to the induction smelter, and an import bus on one of the smelter's other sides. Make sure both are...

    Smeltery - how to?

I always have a hard time finding aluminum. Although I typically do find some before I get deep enough to find gold, so I still wouldn't use gold to make casts (besides, gold has so many other uses that I don't mind making extra trips just to find extra aluminum instead of using gold for casts).

Reevaluate Millenaire as a stock mod

Unless it's been improved since the last time I used it, then Millenaire isn't all that stable even without including other mods that are known to conflict.

    Problems with automated ore Processing

This thread is hilarious. Everybody is missing each other's points. The people arguing for and against subnets are actually arguing about two very different use cases without realizing it.

More news about FTB's Future. (Important announcement)

They're still making a new Feed the Beast map, by the way. It's just that they're completely redesigning it from the ground up (partially, I'd bet, because of the lack of RedPower, on which the old map heavily relies). So it's taking a while. But they've always intended to release a new FTB...

    Tinkerer's construct balance ideas

I'm going to try to integrate liquid-metal storage into an autocrafting system. With the Liquid Logistics Pipes, it might actually be fairly easy. Liquid satellite pipes could dump the proper amount of liquid into a holding tank, then I'd just need some way to produce a redstone signal (unless...
